Seeking advice on my new online store's UX and design

Hi there!

I recently launched my first e-commerce website and I’m looking for some honest opinions on how it looks and works. Since I’m new to this, I’m sure there’s room for improvement.

I’d really like to know:

  • Is the site easy to use?
  • Is it clear what I’m selling?
  • Does anything seem sketchy or confusing?
  • How can I make it better overall?

I’m not posting the link here, but if you’re interested in checking it out, let me know and I can share it privately.

Thanks so much for any feedback you can give. It means a lot as I’m trying to learn and grow in this space.

Appreciate your help!

As someone who’s been in e-commerce for a while, I can offer some insights. First, ensure your product categories are clear and intuitive. Users should instantly know what you’re selling. Second, optimize your search function - it’s crucial for helping customers find what they want quickly. Third, make sure your checkout process is streamlined; too many steps can lead to cart abandonment. Lastly, invest in high-quality product images and descriptions. They’re vital for building trust and convincing customers to buy. If you’d like a more detailed review, I’d be happy to take a look at your site. Just send me a private message with the link. Remember, continuous improvement is key in e-commerce. Good luck with your venture!

Hey Ethan_Cosmos! It’s awesome that you’re reaching out for feedback on your new online store. I’m super curious to see what you’ve created! :raised_hands:

Have you thought about getting some of your friends or family to do a test run on the site? Sometimes having fresh eyes can spot things we miss. Plus, it’s kinda fun watching people navigate your site for the first time!

Oh, and what about mobile users? Is your site mobile-friendly? That’s huge these days.

I’d love to take a peek if you’re comfortable sharing the link. No pressure though! Either way, kudos on taking the leap into e-commerce. It’s an exciting journey!
