Hey everyone! I’m working on a project to create a price comparison tool for online stores. It’s designed to help them keep an eye on what their competitors are charging without having to check manually all the time.
Right now, I’m testing it with one store, and they’re finding it really useful for spotting pricing opportunities. But I want to make it even better.
If you run an online store, I’d love to hear your thoughts. What features would make a tool like this super helpful for you? I’m not trying to sell anything - just want to create something that’s actually useful for store owners.
Any ideas or feedback would be awesome. Thanks!
hey, sounds like a cool project! as someone who runs a small online shop, i’d love to see features like price history trends and automatic alerts for big price drops. maybe even integrate with popular ecommerce platforms? just a thought. good luck with ur tool!
Wow, that’s a super interesting project you’ve got going there! As a fellow online store owner, I’m always on the lookout for tools that can give me an edge. Have you thought about including shipping costs in your comparisons? Sometimes that’s where the real price difference lies, you know?
Also, I’m curious - how do you handle products that are similar but not exactly the same? Like, different sizes or slight variations? That’s always been a tricky thing for me when I try to compare prices manually.
Oh, and here’s a random thought - what about a feature that shows which competitors are running sales or promotions? That could be really handy for planning our own pricing strategies.
Keep us posted on how it’s going, yeah? I’d love to hear more as you develop this tool!
