Hey everyone, I’m at my wit’s end here. I’ve got a new skincare brand that I launched about three weeks ago. Everything looks great - fancy landing page, professional photos, the works. But I’m hitting a wall with my ad performance.
My current setup:
One ABO campaign
Three ad sets ($50 each): static, UGC, and AI video
Total budget: $150/day
Also running a $20/day brand awareness campaign
The problem? My CPMs are through the roof - we’re talking $175 to $200! Sure, my CTRs are decent, but with these costs, I’m only getting about 30 website visitors a day. That’s nowhere near enough to gather useful data.
I’ve got experience in ecommerce, but it’s been a while since I’ve done this. What am I missing? Any tips on how to bring those CPMs down? I’m open to trying new campaign structures or strategies. Help a fellow brand builder out!
Hey there Mia! Wow, those CPMs are sky-high! Have you thought about playing around with your audience targeting? Sometimes going broader can actually help bring those costs down.
I’m super curious - what kind of creatives are you using? Maybe we could brainstorm some fresh ideas that might resonate better with your audience?
Oh, and have you checked out any seasonal trends in your niche? Sometimes timing can make a huge difference in ad performance.
What’s your take on influencer marketing? It might be worth exploring as an alternative to traditional ads, especially for a new skincare brand.
Keep us posted on how it goes! Rooting for you to crack this puzzle!
hey mia, i’ve been there! have u tried broadening ur targeting? sometimes niche audiences can drive up cpm’s. also, consider testing different placements - instagram reels or fb stories might give u cheaper impressions. dont forget to optimize ur creative for mobile viewing, that can help too. good luck!
Have you considered testing different ad objectives? Sometimes switching from conversion to traffic or reach can significantly lower CPMs. Also, ensure your ad account isn’t restricted - high CPMs can be a sign of account issues. It might be worth pausing your campaigns for a day or two and then relaunching with fresh creatives. This can sometimes reset the algorithm and lead to better performance. Lastly, don’t overlook the power of organic content. Building a strong social media presence can complement your paid efforts and potentially reduce overall acquisition costs.
