I attempted to complete a payment for the ECFMG pathways, but I keep running into an error. The system reports: “Some required information is missing or incorrect. Please correct the fields below and try again.” It further details the issue with the message: “Error: Invalid Merchant or Merchant doesn’t exist!”
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve it.
I encountered a similar issue a few months ago and found that it was related to cached information in the browser. Clearing the cache and cookies resolved the mismatch between saved data and current merchant details. Even though the error message seems to point to a configuration problem on the payment side, in my case it was a local issue with older browser settings. I also found that using an incognito window helped by avoiding any cached data. I recommend clearing your browser’s cache or trying a different browser to see if that resolves the issue.
