Does anyone else find the space inventory system, especially with cargo and landing pad logistics, overly cumbersome and unintuitive?

Inventory controls seem overly complex: automated orders at landing pads, modifier keys for transfers, and missing building data in menus. Is this confusion on my part or a design issue?

Hey everyone, I’ve been ruminating on this too. It feels like there’s a repeated pattern of overcomplication here. Sometimes I wonder if trying to pack in every possible tweak and setting has simply resulted in making the system less accessible overall. Maybe what we really need is a more context-sensitive help that guides you through each step rather than a blanket information overload. Has anyone else experimented with any modifications or alternative settings that could smooth things out a bit? It’d be cool to hear if there’s an approach or even a small tweak that has made these tools more intuitive for you in your daily workflow. What are your thoughts on how this balance between detailed control and straightforward functionality should be handled?

hey, i really think its over enginerd. its like each function is hidden behind extra steps, making the whole thing a maze. simpler interface would work way better, less confuing. anyone found any clever hack to cut through the clutter?

The system has always given me a hard time as well. I started out thinking that the multiple layers of automation were designed to simplify things, but I soon discovered that they actually complicate what should be a more intuitive process. At times, it feels like one has to decode the instructions each time a new feature is added. It may be a case of prioritizing automation over user-friendly design. With some trial and error I began to understand the workflow better, but it’s still far from perfect.
