Hey everyone! I’m on the hunt for some solid e-commerce brands that are doing well but aren’t huge yet. I’m talking about companies that are making between $10,000 and $50,000 a month.
I’m not interested in dropshippers or big-name brands. I want to find those up-and-coming direct-to-consumer businesses that are making their own products.
I’ve tried a few tools to find these brands, but I’m not having much luck. Does anyone have any good strategies or resources they use to discover these kinds of businesses?
I’m open to any suggestions - maybe there are some industry-specific directories or forums where these brands hang out? Or perhaps there are some clever ways to use social media to find them?
Any tips or tricks would be super helpful. Thanks in advance for your ideas!
I’ve had success finding promising mid-sized e-commerce brands through a few methods. One effective approach is scouring niche product subreddits and online communities. Users there often discuss and recommend smaller, quality brands. Additionally, exploring hashtags on Instagram related to specific product categories can uncover hidden gems. Another tactic is reviewing finalists from startup competitions or accelerator programs focused on e-commerce or DTC brands. These often highlight companies in that sweet spot you’re looking for. Lastly, don’t underestimate the power of good old-fashioned networking. Attending industry trade shows or local maker markets can put you in direct contact with founders of up-and-coming brands that fit your criteria.
Hey there! Have you thought about checking out some of the newer crowdfunding platforms? I’ve stumbled across quite a few interesting e-commerce brands that way. They’re often at that sweet spot you’re looking for - established enough to have a solid product, but not yet huge.
Also, what about industry-specific podcasts? I’ve found some gems by listening to interviews with founders of up-and-coming brands. They often share their journey and sales figures.
Oh, and here’s a random thought - have you considered looking into sustainable or eco-friendly product categories? There seem to be a lot of innovative mid-sized brands popping up in that space.
What kind of products are you most interested in? Maybe we could brainstorm some more targeted strategies if we knew your specific areas of interest!
