Prestashop seems better for product management. It has a nice color swatcher and easy-to-use combinations for sizes and colors. Magento’s system looks a bit more complicated.
For customer groups, Prestashop wins again. It’s got simple built-in functions for group discounts and category restrictions.
Prestashop also seems easier for multiple languages. You can just click a flag to translate stuff. Magento treats different languages as separate shops, which sounds like a headache.
Magento might be better for connecting with other systems like ERPs or CMSs. It’s been around longer, so there are more options.
I’m leaning towards Prestashop, especially with the new features in version 1.5. But I’d love to hear what you think! Any experience with either for a clothing store? What would you choose and why?
