Hey folks, I’m thinking about joining this ecom mentoring thing called Ecom Boss. It’s run by a guy named James Conti. I’ve been trying to make money with ecommerce for a while now but haven’t had much luck. This program sounds pretty good - they focus on free platforms like Facebook Marketplace instead of paid ads, and they have some AI tools to help out.
I talked to someone from their team and it all sounds great, but it costs $2,500. That’s a lot of money for me. I’ve looked at their reviews online and they seem good, but I want to hear from real people who’ve actually done the program.
Has anyone here tried Ecom Boss? What was your experience like? Did you actually make money? I’d really appreciate any honest feedback before I spend this much cash. Thanks!
i tried ecom boss last year. honestly, it did little for me. content was basic, easily avail free and ai tools buggy. i made very little profit and felt ripped off. save ur cash and start selling on fb marketplace by doing.
I haven’t personally tried Ecom Boss, but I’ve been in the ecommerce space for several years now. My advice would be to approach any high-cost program with caution, especially if you’re tight on funds. While $2,500 might seem like a good investment if it delivers results, there’s no guarantee of success in ecommerce.
Instead of jumping into an expensive program, I’d suggest starting with free resources like YouTube tutorials, ecommerce blogs, and online communities. Many successful sellers have shared their strategies openly. You could also consider lower-cost courses on platforms like Udemy to get your feet wet.
Remember, the key to ecommerce success often lies in finding the right products, understanding your target market, and continuous learning and adaptation. No program can guarantee success, but hands-on experience is invaluable. Perhaps start small on platforms like Facebook Marketplace to gain practical experience before investing heavily in mentoring programs.
Hey there SwimmingCloud!
I totally get where you’re coming from. Ecommerce can be tricky to crack, right? I haven’t tried Ecom Boss myself, but I’m kinda curious now. Have you looked into any other mentoring programs? Or maybe chatted with some successful sellers on Facebook Marketplace?
$2,500 is a chunk of change for sure. I wonder what exactly you get for that? Like, do they offer ongoing support or is it just a one-time thing? And those AI tools sound interesting - any idea how they work?
You mentioned you’ve been trying ecommerce for a while. What kind of stuff have you been selling? Maybe we could brainstorm some ideas here in the forum for free before you drop that much cash?
Just thinking out loud here. Hope you find the answers you’re looking for! Keep us posted on what you decide, yeah?
