Am I better off switching from cashier to fulfillment?

Working part-time as a cashier with extended hours, I am weighing order fulfillment. What are common closing times, and would you advise such a move?

i switched to fulfilmnt recently. closing times are arond 10pm but can shift roughy. i liked having more predictable hours and better pacing. check with local shops bc results vary. good luck man

Hey Mike_Energetic, I’ve been mulling over a similar switch and so far my experience in fulfillment has been pretty intriguing. From what I’ve noticed, the closing times can be a bit more flexible than the typical 10pm you might expect from some spots, and sometimes they’re slightly earlier depending on the store’s peak hours. I actually enjoy the variety in my tasks—it can sometimes feel like you’re not just clocking in and out of repetitive customer transactions like in cashier roles. I’m curious, what sparked your interest in making the change? Are you looking for a more flexible schedule or just something different to break your routine? I mean, every environment has its quirks, and I’m still weighing up the benefits versus the consistency of being a cashier. Anyone else here been in the midst of this decision? Would be cool to hear more about what everyone values in their work schedule!
