Which people really earn a solid income from ecommerce and how demanding is the work?

After accounting for all expenses, is it truly possible to generate a sustainable income from ecommerce that can replace a regular salary?

I am currently developing an online retail brand and have not begun operations yet. My ambition is for this venture to provide an income that surpasses the limits of a traditional paycheck. Could anyone share their annual earnings figures along with insights on achieving a healthy work-life balance, or is this aspiration simply unrealistic?

Hey SailingBreeze, thanks for kicking off such an awesome thread! I’ve been exploring ecommerce for a while and though I wouldn’t call myself an expert, I’ve noticed that people are really paving their own paths out there. It seems like solid income is more about figuring out the right strategy and managing all the behind-the-scenes work rather than just having a hot product and a cool website. I’m curious, what niche are you thinking of getting into? I’ve seen some folks emphasize the value of automated tools and data-driven insights to strike that work/life balance without burning out over every little detail. Do you think focusing on a very specific audience might help streamline the whole process? Would love to hear what strategies others have tried or what directions you’re considering. Let’s keep this conversation going!
