This is pretty exciting news for those of us who love to shop online but struggle with Chinese. Has anyone tried it out yet? I’m curious to know if it’s easy to use and if the product descriptions are accurately translated. Also, I wonder if this means they’ll be expanding to other English-speaking countries soon. What do you guys think about this development? Do you think it’ll change how people in Singapore shop online?

thats awesome news! i’ve been wanting to shop on taobao for ages but my chinese is terrible lol. hope the translations are decent tho, sometimes those can be pretty funky. wonder if theyll roll it out to other countries soon? could be a game changer for online shopping if they do
Wow, that’s pretty cool news about Taobao! I’ve always been curious about all the unique stuff they have, but the language barrier was a real problem. 
Anyone know if they’re keeping the same huge selection in the English version? I’d love to browse through all those quirky gadgets and trendy clothes without relying on Google Translate every two seconds.
