Looking for a Hotel Inventory Tracking Spreadsheet

My supervisor isn’t very tech-savvy, but since I’ve created some basic spreadsheets previously, she believes I’m proficient with them. I need a comprehensive spreadsheet for managing inventory at a hotel, capable of monitoring both sales and stock levels within a single document. It should track daily inventory changes for items, as well as updates for the storage inventory.

Creating a comprehensive hotel inventory tracking spreadsheet can be quite daunting but certainly manageable. I’ve had a similar project in the past. Start by listing all inventory items in the spreadsheet. Make use of multiple tabs, one for each category like housekeeping supplies, kitchen stock, etc. Include columns for starting stock levels, daily usage, restock dates, minimum stock level alerts, and current stock levels to keep everything updated automatically. Adding conditional formatting will help in visually alerting you when stock levels are low. Include an automatic daily or weekly running total to track consumption trends. Excel’s built-in formulas and pivot tables can help generate real-time reports, making it much easier to monitor and respond to inventory needs effectively."}
