Final decision: reverting to cash payments!

Fed up with extra electronic transaction fees disguised as surcharges, I’m determined to revert to cash. I refuse to bear arbitrary fees hidden within my payment total.

Having reverted to cash myself, I appreciate the transparency it offers in tracking and managing everyday expenses. The absence of hidden fees indeed brings a sense of clarity to financial transactions, even if it means enduring minor inconveniences like regular trips to the ATM. Although digital payments have undeniable advantages in terms of convenience, the control and budgeting discipline that comes with cash are valuable in preventing unnecessary charges. My experience suggests that the slight hassle can be a fair trade-off for the direct and predictable handling of money.

i’m all for cash if u hate extra feez. its old skool but i feel in control knowing exactly wat u pay. sure, carryin cash can be a hiccup sometimes, but it’s worth ditchin sneaky fees over digital pay, imho.

Hey Sophie, I totally get where you’re coming from with the cash switch – digital payments can really sneak in those extra fees without a heads up. I’ve been experimenting with mostly cash for everyday buys to avoid any surprises on my bank statement, but I’m curious how you plan to manage situations like online shopping or emergencies where cash isn’t so handy. Have you found any clever workarounds or do you stick strictly to physical money? It’d be cool to hear more about your journey with this, how you deal with any challenges that pop up, and if there’s a sweet spot between cash and convenience in your view!
