Hey everyone,
I’m trying to decide between Webflow and Shopify for my online store. I’ve heard good things about both, but I’m curious about how they perform in terms of actual sales.
Has anyone here run e-commerce sites on both platforms? I’m especially interested in how Webflow’s integration with Stripe and Link payments stacks up against Shopify Payments.
What’s been your experience with conversion rates on each platform? Are there any noticeable differences? Any insights would be super helpful as I’m making this decision.
Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts!
I’ve managed e-commerce sites on both platforms for several years. In my experience, Shopify tends to have a slight edge in conversion rates, particularly for larger stores. This is likely due to its robust ecosystem of apps and integrations that can enhance the shopping experience. However, Webflow with Stripe/Link isn’t far behind and offers superior design flexibility.
One notable advantage of Webflow is the ability to create highly customized, visually appealing storefronts that can differentiate your brand. This can lead to increased customer engagement and potentially higher average order values. Shopify, while more standardized, provides a streamlined checkout process that many customers are familiar with.
Ultimately, the choice depends on your specific needs, technical expertise, and long-term scalability requirements. Both platforms are capable of delivering solid conversion rates when implemented effectively.
hey daisy! i’ve used both and honestly, webflow+stripe has been surprisingly good for me. conversion rates are pretty similar, but webflow’s customization options are
. shopify’s easier to set up tho. depends on wat you need really. either way, you’ll prolly do fine!
